I haven't been on Deviant Art in quite a long time and so much has changed!  I have a 6 month old beautiful daughter named Amelia, and I'm living in good old Pennsylvania again with my boyfriend and his two sons: life is wonderful : ) My muse lately is obviously Amelia, but I don't want to submit too many photos of her and overwhelm everyone : )  So when I get a chance (ha) I may try to take photographs of other subjects as well, but her cuteness is hard to ignore ; ) But anyway, it's good to be back again, and hopefully I will be able to keep up with my page and not neglect my passion for photography : )

So this Christmas I finally got what I've always wanted from my wonderful boyfriend Kevin, a new glooorious camera!!! Which I have decided to name Big Bertha.  Don't ask me why ; )  I've had my old camera since like 2003, the button has broken off, the colors are off, and now it's time to start 2010 with a rockin camera and hopefully some new awesome deviations! I haven's submitted very many deviation to Deviant Art lately, so hopefully my new camera will ignite my creativity and allow me to share more of my work.  Hopefully my style has changed/will change as well : ) Merry Christmas!! : )

Tis time for a new journal indeed! Well photography has taken me somewhere quite unexpected... to a retirement community. I'm an activities aide and we just started a photography club : ) They take portraits of each other, take still life photos, and take nature shots as well. We almost have a whole album full and we are going to have an art show in late August. It's very exciting for me to be able to help people and do photography at the same time, even if I'm not always the one behind the lens.
